Discipleship Conference

Friday, September 8 - Saturday, September 9 - Lighthouse Community Church

The Making Disciples in Broken Places annual conference is a series that is sponsored by Lighthouse Community Church and The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) for those who disciple others.  These learning events specifically focus on those who seek to identify and apply central principles in equipping people to live as disciples and train others in challenging communities and difficult situations.  The plenaries, workshops, and dialogues are designed to provide you with a practical, roll-up-your sleeves approach to making disciples in and through the church.  Our 2017 conference will enable us to discover how the teaching of Christ's return can strengthen and transform our own spiritual formation, and enable us to prepare growing disciples to live effectively for Christ in this needy and dangerous world.

Dr. Don Davis
The Urban Ministry Institute

Cost is $30/person (includes conference workbook and Saturday lunch)

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
