God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. 1 Peter 4:10 (NLT)
Restored loves our volunteers! You are essential to the life of our church. We believe volunteering is one of the best ways to worship God and find connection in church. There are many opportunities for you to use your time, talent, and skills to serve Jesus and our community. You’ll find you always get more than you give!
Sunday Morning Prayer Room
Calling all prayer warriors! We have a prayer room open on the third floor, Sundays from 9:15 am - 10:15 am for anyone who wishes to do battle in prayer. We have discovered that when we gather and pray before a church service, it opens doors and opens hearts.
No need to apply for this position - you can just show up!
Volunteers on our Connections Team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. They serve our church on a rotating schedule by greeting people before services, helping people find seats, and working in the Info Center and Coffee Bar.
Volunteers in Restored Kidz minister to our 1st - 5th graders during weekend worship services through singing with the children, telling biblical stories, and teaching the truth of God's Word. They check in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers, and sing or play in the worship band.
Volunteers on our Facilities Team serve behind the scenes. They take care of the church building and grounds and keep things looking and working great. They clean the church building, maintain the church grounds, prep for services and events, and help with painting and taking out the trash.
Volunteers in our High School and Middle School ministry get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with students, ministering them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They check in students, greet students, set up events, and help lead small groups.
Volunteers on the Production Team keep things running smoothly during our weekend services and other events so that our attendees have a great experience meeting with the Lord and the Church. They run the lighting and sound booth, put up slides, and set up for services and events.
Volunteers on our Worship Team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord through music. They lead worship at weekend services and other ministries and events throughout the week and sing or play an instrument in the worship band.
Volunteers on our Transportation Team run our Restored vans to provide rides to those who do not have accessible transportation so they can be a part of our services at Restored. Vans pick up and drop off people on Sunday mornings and are also available for special events and camps.
A major component to the Restored heart is missions. Our volunteers work locally on our city-based mission outreaches and throughout the country in major cities where we partner with other church-planting churches. Apply to be on our Mission Leadership Team or for one of our upcoming trips.
The Giving Center
The Giving Center offers free medical care and a Kansas Food Bank to those who are in need. We are open the first Tuesday of every month and we exist to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our city. We are always in need of volunteers to work in publicity, pack food boxes, work check-in stations, triage patients, and be patient advocates that minister directly to the families that come.
**Our Giving Center will reopen on Tuesday, May 2.**
